An Evening with Kate Baldwin: How Did You Get This Number?

Hailed as “the redheaded firecracker” (The New York Times), Kate Baldwin brings her signature show How Did You Get This Number? to Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre for an evening of Broadway and popular songs and expert storytelling. Known for her Tony-nominated performances in Hello, Dolly! and Finian’s Rainbow, Kate has also originated beloved roles in Big Fish, Giant and Superhero as well as her sparkling appearances on the nation’s concert stages.

Kate will be spotlighting Shenandoah musical theatre students as they join her in performing the premiere of a new arrangement of songs from the beloved musical Big Fish.

Long-time friend and collaborator composer Georgia Stitt joins Kate at the piano to accompany her as she takes audiences on a journey through the music that matters most. “We suppose there are some things that Baldwin cannot do, but over the past decade we have yet to see her be anything but superb,” says Steven Suskin of Playbill.
